REVIEW: Quiz & Chips Night Thurs 21 July in aid of Asperger East Anglia
The Fish & Chip Quiz Night at the Public Hall is just one of the creative and fun ways that Asperger East Anglia has raised money to help keep the Beccles Children & Family Group funded which is each fortnight on a Saturday morning at Beccles Public Hall and it’s heartening to see how many more new families are joining in.
With a mountain of lovely raffle prizes, delicious fish or sausage and chips for supper, (all 120 helpings!) from Worlingham, great entertainment from compere and quiz master, Neil Dunnell, Gen Mgr, everyone had a really fun evening whilst putting their heads together for the quiz!
“Our Fish and Chip Quiz night was a great success, everyone seemed to enjoy the evening and we raised £538. Thanks to all quiz goers for your support”! said Paula Ingle, Asperger.
“A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped from Asperger East Anglia, the staff at the Public Hall and the fabulous Superfry of Worlingham Fish and Chip shop owner, Chi, who cooked the fish/sausages and chips and also kindly donated an amount towards the food bill. We also had an anonymous donation for which we also send our gratitude to.
We wish to also thank the local businesses in Beccles for donating prizes for the raffle including Morrisons, Rosedale Funeral Home, Baileys Delicatessen, Simply Cards and Hillside News. Thanks also to Robinsons who donated squash drinks for the evening” added Paula.
